Hardware Landmark: Salto Sallis Electronic Handle

Above: A Salto Sallis wireless electronic handle. These locks communicate status (battery, door state) back to the Inner Range system in real-time.

🧠 The Concept

Salto Sallis technology allows for seamless integration of Salto's wireless locks into the Inner Range Integriti environment. Unlike standalone Salto systems, Sallis locks act as "online" readers, providing the same level of control and monitoring as a wired door, but without the cables.

🛠️ Hands-on Steps

  1. Node Setup: Connect the Sallis Node (bridge) to the Integriti RS-485 LAN. Ensure you address the node correctly using its rotary switches.
  2. Lock Initialization: Use the Salto PPD (Portable Programming Device) to initialize the lock and assign it to the correct Sallis Node.
  3. Integriti Mapping: In the hardware tree of Integriti Professional, browse the Sallis Node to discover and "Install" the wireless locks.
  4. Maintenance: Always check the "Battery Status" of Sallis locks in the Integriti status list to ensure preventive maintenance is scheduled before they go offline.
