🧠 The Concept

Integrating CCTV with Inner Range allows you to trigger recording or pop-up video when a door is forced or held open. This is done either via Software (Network/ONVIF) or Physical Wiring where the camera's relay connects directly to an Inner Range input.

🛠️ Hands-on Steps

  1. Network Sync: Ensure the camera and the controller are on the same subnet.
  2. Physical Link: Wire the COM and NO terminals of the Camera's alarm output to a Spare Input on your Access Module.
  3. Software Trigger: In the Inception/Integriti web interface, create a "Video Trigger" that listens for the input state change.
  4. Testing: Manually trigger the camera's relay and verify the event appears in the system log.
